The renowned radio presenter Tbo Touch, real name Thabo Molefe, and Grammy Award-winning producer, Zakes Bantwini are on a mission to take fans to new spiritual heights. The pair have recently joined their creative ideas to come up with a gospel album called, Prayer.
In conversation with the news and entertainment publication, TimesLive, the prominent radio personality highlighted that fans could look forward to hearing songs from the album at his upcoming concert called Replenishment.
This is deemed an extension of his afternoon drive show on Metro FM where he ministers during replenishment hour.
In his interview with TimesLive, he further added: “Zakes and I have recorded a gospel song, and we are about to complete our soon-to-be-named gospel album, it’s a prayer album. Replenishment has partnered with the City of Tshwane which is a big deal, as we’ll be working with service providers from Tshwane.”
Tbo says that it’s important that people are drawn back to the Lord and that his music journey will create wonders for gospel fans.
“Gospel music restores one’s wisdom of one’s surroundings and situation in life to put their faith in the lord,” he added.
Earlier this year, he credited much of his spiritual life to the way that he was raised in a loving Christian household.
In an interview with IOL, Tbo said: “Given the pedigree of leadership I come from with my family, being born in a family that has always put God in the epicentre of everything, our existence, our drive. I’m the fourth generation of spiritual piety for me.”
Meanwhile, the replenishment concert is scheduled to take place on September 28 at SuperSport Park Stadium in Centurion.
The event will include many big names in the entertainment industry including the likes of Kabelo ‘Bouga Luv’ Mabalane, Rebecca Malope, Lebo Sekgobela, Dumi Mkokstad, Ayanda Ntanzi, Dr Tumi, and Winnie Mashaba.
