Tebogo Sefora, from newcomer to rising star

Fresh from his role as the enigmatic Thapelo in Champions, television newcomer Tebogo Sefora is gearing up to leave his mark on the fourth season of House of Zwide.

House of Zwinde follows Onalerona Molapo, a young Tembisa girl with big dreams of working for successful fashion designer Funani Zwide as they discover the treacherous past that has come to define their lives.

Sefora joins the acclaimed e.tv daily drama as Thato, bringing fresh energy to the series alongside seasoned actor Mduduzi Mabaso, who plays the complex ex-convict Msizi.

At 32, Sefora is not just another pretty face – his striking looks have captured viewers’ attention, but his remarkable acting talent truly sets him apart.

Hailing from Tlhabane, Rustenburg, Sefora’s journey has been anything but conventional. After the tragic loss of his father at the age of 12, he faced a series of challenges, moving from one
family member’s home to another.

These hardships and his turbulent teenage years fueled his drive to overcome adversity.

Despite a stint as a bank teller, Sefora’s passion for acting remained unwavering. His persistence has paid off, and he now steps into the spotlight with a role that promises to showcase his dynamic range.
