Former Generations actress and traditional healer Letoya Makhene recently appeared on Moja Love: Fake Gobela, after one of her initiates demanded their money back.
The Moja Love reality show seeks to expose fake traditional healers as well as find the injustice of how initiates are treated whilst in the process of becoming qualified traditional healers. In a recent episode of the show, Letoya found herself a victim, after her former initiate Kabelo Mpongo demanded his money back on claims that he did not finish his process.
As per reports by news publication, IOL, Kabelo claimed that Letoya owed him R2,8k, on claims that the actress didn’t help him while he was with her. Letoya then defended those claims by saying that her initial fee to train initiates was R10k and that Kabelo didn’t have that money, so she decided to help him either way.
After this episode, many X (formerly known as Twitter) users felt that Letoya was not a fake gobela and it was evident that Kabelo was sent by her ex-wife Lebo Keswa, who has since claimed that Letoya was not a qualified healer as she also never completed her journey, adding that, she had been abusive towards her during their marriage.
One user referred to something Letoya said as she knew that Kabelo was sent by her ex-wife.

All i know is when you enroll at a school and you pay school fees. When you decide to drop out, you don’t get a refund. This boy is really sent, Latoya even took him in even though he didn’t have money #FakeGobela
