Veteran actress and former Queendom star Sindiswa Dlathu is ready to grace our TV screens once more as she is set to join the cast of E.tv’s latest telenovela Isiphetho: Destiny.
The news comes shortly after the seasoned thespian ended her journey with BET’s original show Queendom amid production financial woes. Production for the show has since been halted as the cast and crew went unpaid for a substantial period.
Popular for her roles as Thandaza on Muvhango and Lindiwe Dikana on The River, the veteran will now be gracing our screens as Zanemvula, a cunning mastermind with a shaky moral compass, the type of character we all know Sindi thrives as.
E.tv took to their Instagram page to build more anticipation for the latest addition to the show’s cast. “Introducing Zanemvula, played by @sindi_dlathu a dark mastermind whose intentions draw a fine line between truth and deception. Are you ready to watch the queen of deception do her thing? Tune into Isiphetho-Destiny weeknights at 18:30,” the caption reads.

Black Brain mastermind and Isiphetho’s executive producer Mandla N spoke to TshisaLive and confirmed that Sindi will be joining their cast. “Yes, Sis Sindi has joined Isiphetho and I’m excited about her being part of the cast team. Her inclusion will pull more viewers to stay glued to their screens when it’s prime time. She’ll be starting to shoot next week Monday, I urge people to tune in and they won’t be disappointed.”
Viewers are expecting nothing but a high-quality performance from Zanemvula as Sindi has established herself as a master of her craft, who manages to embody her characters to a tee.
