When speaking about upcoming superstars in mzansi, the name Young Stunna often comes up, and for good reason, as the youngster has established himself as one of the more consistent artists in the country. To further cement himself as one of the greats, the ‘Adiwele’ vocalist is set to make history with his first live show ‘Kwa Mashaya’.
Although his career is relatively still fresh, Young Stunna has managed to accomplish what only a few have been able to, and those that have, have had far longer to do so. Born Sandile Msimango, Stunna rose to fame at a time when amapiano was an upcoming genre in the country. He secured impactful collaborations such as ‘Bopha’, with ‘Adiwele’ catapulting him into fame.
Since then, he has continued to produce smash hit after smash hit, with a soulful repertoire that evokes an almost spiritual energy that resonates deeply with a large portion of the local and international audience.
Next on his agenda, is the ‘Kwa Mashaya’ live show, which according to the multi-award-winning artist, is a celebration of the love and support he has received in his career, it is also set to be a celebration of everything he has managed to achieve so far.
It is hard to believe that this will only be his first live show, where he will be accompanied by a live band, showcasing his exceptional vocal and performance skills that he is known for.
“I present to you, family! My first live show, with a full band and an amazing energetic experience, life & energy. This is a musical celebration, celebrating the journey and the love I’ve received throughout, all the effort, lessons learnt, and family & friends I made outside my home. You’re all invited, KWAMASHAYA,” Young Stunna captioned a heartfelt post.
