Controversial blogger Musa Khawula has finally swallowed his pride, apologising to businessman Ze Nxumalo after months of scandal and mounting legal pressure.
In a dramatic Friday morning post on X (formerly Twitter), Khawula shared an “UNRESERVED AND UNEQUIVOCAL APOLOGY” dripping with sarcasm: “askies hle zesimdumise nxumalo for saying you cheated on your wife dr tamaryn green with lebo mokoena, that was so wrong of me, how dare I, will you please ensure that your wife gets this as well, oh! what a kind man, god bless you.”
But Musa didn’t stop there. He threw in a new twist, claiming a friend of the Nxumalos paid him off to delete his previous allegations and even posted a bank notification screenshot as supposed proof. “Took the money, went and got drunk on cheap alcohol and then deleted all of them,” he confessed.
The apology may be just in time – City Press recently reported that Khawula faced an arrest warrant after ignoring a previous court order to apologise to Nxumalo over explosive cheating claims against him.
The now-deleted post read, “Dr Tamaryn Green Nxumalo with a child while her husband Ze Nxumalo is cheating on her.”
This is just the latest chapter in Khawula’s spiralling legal saga. He recently spent 60 days behind bars following a court showdown with Nozuko Mbalula, wife of ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula, and her business associate Michelle Perrow.
The pair sued him after he accused them of bribing officials to secure government tenders worth R150 million. Khawula was ordered to retract his posts and pay R1 million in damages.
And the drama doesn’t end there. Khawula is also awaiting a murder trial, accused of stabbing his ex-boyfriend Wandile Khambule to death in 2022.
