Radio presenter and prominent media personality, Tbo Touch is beaming with pride after his son Zuri follows in his father’s footsteps, by stepping into the world of presenting.
When it comes to their ability to capture the attention of large crowds it appears that the nick for entertaining the masses runs in the Molefe household. Metro FM presenter Thabo Molefe better known as Tbo Touch was left in awe after his pride and joy Zuri landed himself a presenter role on Mzansi Magic’s Playroom.
While most people would be surprised to see him in front of their television screens, the proud father revealed that there have always been subtle signs that his son might venture into the entertainment space.
In an interview with TshisaLive, Tbo recalled how they purchased Zuri a microphone cake for his first birthday, and how they would spend time together in the studio where young Zuri would often attempt to go live on air.
“Zuri is the most talkative in the family. He likes to negotiate everything so I’m glad there’s a hybrid of business and presenting skills in him. He’s got a certificate for a top public speaker for his grade at school.”

He revealed he was never really sure about what career his son wanted to pursue until two years ago when he invited him to an interview.
As with any proud father, Tbo was more than happy to hand Zuri a few tips ahead of his television debut.
He revealed that while he might have been nervous, he later encouraged him to be his authentic self.
“Yeah, he was nervous the night before but he kept rehearsing with his mother. I told him I’d never looked at a script my entire life, not even on the radio. I like to freestyle my links.”
He believes that this might have been the reason he made it this far.
