The 11th of November is a special day for people who are not in a romantic relationship as it is an unofficial Chinese holiday, which is called ‘Singles Day’ and in order to commemorate this special day, popular restaurant brand News Cafe offered patrons an R11 burger special, which had the streets of mzansi buzzing with people trying to find the nearest outlet.
The popular restaurant chain advertised its exciting and unique special all over its different social media pages, revealing that they would be serving a burger meal for a total of R22, with the burger and chips going for R11 each. Although some users waited in anticipation for the big day, many were sceptical and could not believe that they were being offered a deal of this kind.

The jokes started to fly when users shared their not-so-aesthetically-pleasing meals that they were served, as opposed to the juicy, and mouth-watering meals that were advertised by the restaurant.
