Television presenter and media personality Kim Jayde will soon have the opportunity to showcase her craft in the country of her birth.
The former MTV presenter Kim Jayde is now smiling from one cheek to another as she officially reached a full circle moment. This comes after the recent announcement that she was selected to host the annual Miss World Zimbabwe beauty pageant in the country of her birth.
Kim, a proud ambassador of her roots, started her entertainment career in South Africa after relocating as an 18-year-old to study at Stellenbosch University in the Western Cape.
After spending years in the industry as a model, she later got her big break after auditioning to become a presenter on the popular MTV Base entertainment show Newsish, providing regular updates on what was happening in the world of music and entertainment. Fast-forward to today, and she has several accolades under her belt, including being an entrepreneur and being recognised on the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
Expressing her excitement, she recently took to Instagram to share the news with the rest of her followers.

“Your Host for Miss World Zimbabwe 2024,” she wrote.
“I’ve been sitting on this one for months and can finally share the news! I’m coming home. A massive thank you to @zimbutterfly for trusting me with such a huge honour- I cannot wait to touch down in Harare and be part of the Miss World Zimbabwe family as we build on the legacy on this special country.”
Ending her post, she wrote: “This is what Dreams are Made of! Thank You God.”
