Gagasi FM presenter and comedian Felix Hlophe and his wife Tracy Smith-Hlophe celebrate six years of marriage.
According to the news publication The South African, the couple married in 2018 and welcomed two children. The radio DJ is also said to have four children outside of his marriage, according to the news publication.
Speaking to entertainment hub, ZiMoja, Felix explained that marriage comes with its challenges, adding, “Marriage is one of the hardest things I’ve ever attempted, and yet it is the sweetest thing I’ve ever experienced, filled with ups and downs. Sometimes you think you hate your spouse and they feel they hate you too. You both feel there are alternatives.”
Despite being married, Felix also revealed earlier this year that he was to take a second wife. TimesLIVE mentions that he was to wed Durban woman Ayanda after dating her for a while.
A close source told the above-mentioned publication that, “It’s not easy for any wife to accept polygamy arrangements. It took months for him to persuade Tracy to enter into such a marriage. At first, we wondered who the woman always having dinner with him until recently we saw him with Tracy and Ayanda in Umhlanga having lunch at a restaurant.”
Taking to Facebook, Felix celebrated his wife on their 6th wedding anniversary where he candidly spoke about the ups and downs married people face.
He further added, “Kodwa we will try and be better for us and our family. To all our followers know that we will hold the fort and stay close and not fight back. We are good people. And we will always stay good. Faults and all. Today we celebrate 6 years. To many more.”
