Kwaito legend Victor Bogopan, famously known as Doc Shebeleza reportedly in hospital awaiting surgery.
According to news publication, TimesLIVE, the kwaito star’s family has urged mzansi to pray for him as his health has deteriorated.
Speaking on these recent events, family spokesman, Shakes Mavundla said, “Mzansi, please put our kwaito legend, businessman, Amaha chairperson in your good, blessed prayers, who continues to assist the poorest of the poorest in our beautiful country.”
Earlier this year, Doc was also reported to have been hospitalised, as according to multiple tests done by doctors was discovered that his veins were not functioning effectively. Although he returned home from the hospital, he has since been readmitted and is now preparing for surgery in the ICU.
In June, Doc spoke to entertainment publication, ZiMoja, where he shared a health update, adding that, it could have been due to him experiencing fatigue as his schedule has been busy.
Since the news broke of the kwaito star being hospitalised images have been circulating on socials showing him in his hospital bed with drips attached to him.

One user commented that the pictures circulating online were not necessary.
