While South Africans are enjoying the beautiful summer heat, Morning Live breakfast host Leanne Manas has decided to celebrate her festive season a little bit differently this year.
Known for being the host of the SABC 2 breakfast show, Morning Live, Leanne Manas has played a pivotal role in the lives of millions of South Africans who all tuned into the show to be updated with the latest news and current affairs while preparing to go to work and school on weekday mornings.
With this being a year in which she has celebrated several milestones in both her career and personal life, the vibrant personality took to Instagram to take her followers on a personal tour of her and her family’s Christmas holiday in Norway.
While the weather does appear to be quite chilly in those parts of the world, Leanne can be seen embracing every moment while abroad.
In post which contains a gallery of images of some of their activities while visiting the country, she summed up the experience with the following caption…
“Twinkling lights dancing on the rain-soaked streets. The sound of trams gliding through the city. The smell of cinnamon buns and hot chocolate fills the air. Church bells chime, and Christmas carols echo through the streets. It’s magical, enchanting – the stuff of fairytales, but it’s real. #Norway.”

In June this year, Leanne marked 20 years since joining life, an opportunity she has grabbed with both hands and continues to excel in with each morning she greets the country.

Meanwhile, she also celebrated her 50th birthday in October. Sharing what the new chapter has meant to her she wrote: “My mind has grown wiser, my heart fuller, and I’ve come to embrace my body with its unique beauty, scars, flaws, and wonders. But it is my soul that humbles me the most—evolving through days, weeks, years, and decades of lessons learned and experiences lived.”
