Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Melusi Buthelezi has found himself caught between a rock and a hard place as two of his baby mamas have decided to drag him to court.
This comes as the Buccaneer’s shot-stopper finds himself accused of failing to fulfil his parenting obligations by financially seeing to the needs of his children.
The news and entertainment publication TshisaLive reported that the footballer was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, however, he failed to pitch up and as a result sent his legal representative instead.
Speaking to the above-mentioned publication, one of the mothers opened up about the 26-year-old’s disinterest.
“He’s now supposed to pay R5,000 on or before the end of each month, but he’s always late on payment. Never pays on time. Now he’s supposed to increase that to meet the needs of the child, but he’s refusing,” she said.
She expressed her disappointment in Melusi adding that the worst part about it was that he continues to show off his luxurious lifestyle on social media platforms while their little one gets neglected.
A second woman later took to YouTube to express her disappointment.
Meanwhile, Melusi has not denied the allegations. Instead, he told TshisaLive that he simply could not meet the maintenance demands of one of the women.
“I am taken to court because my baby mama wants R12,000 maintenance and I can’t afford it. I know the lady from YouTube, I have children with her,” he revealed.
