The brand-new Volvo EX30 Cross Country has everything needed to make your driving experience one of the best.
When it comes to purchasing a new car the appearance usually plays just as big of a role as the experience that gives the driver and its passengers.
Most buyers often make their final decisions based on factors revolving around safety features, fuel efficiency, driving comfort, reliability, affordability, style, technology features, and adequate interior space – and fortunately, the Volvo EX30 has all you need to cater to these desires.
With the introduction of this new fully electric vehicle, the company emphasises that investing in the vehicle means investing in the experience and not just the car.
“It is fully electric, with a range of up to 427km and zero tailpipe emissions, and can be charged from 10-80 percent in as little as 26 minutes. But it also has several extra features that enable a seamless switch from one natural EX30 habitat to another,” reveals Volvo.
Despite being a small SUV it is described as being ideal for the city lifestyle. As South Africans we often pride ourselves on taking family road trips with many of these journeys leading to off-road retreats. To cater to our needs, the company has raised the car higher off the ground. This is different from the standard EX30 and has been done to help you navigate through rough terrain more easily.
“It also has special, bigger wheels, with the option of an 18-inch all-terrain accessory tyres to make those regular countryside outings even easier”.
The style and class are however not exclusively reserved for external functions, but its interior boasts several amazing features that allow its style to match its ability.
Meanwhile, the company promises that this new vehicle is as safe as it comes. It contains brake and steering support which is aimed at helping you avoid collisions with oncoming vehicles, pedestrians, or cyclists. Additionally, the car also comes equipped with a driver monitoring sensor will give you a nudge if it seems like you are distracted or tired.
While the vehicle was launched on Monday, it is yet to be determined whether the EX30 Cross Country will be sold locally. The Business Day has revealed that the regular EX30 is SA’s best-selling electric car.
