If you spend a lot of time on TikTok then you’ve probably heard of the current toddler sensation Zuluboy who has gone viral for his “Why uneslenda” video. The highly anticipated reveal of the young boy’s grandmother he often refers to has finally come and mzansi is eating it up.
Whether you’re part of a specific niche group of TikTok like BookTok, Skincare TikTok, FashionTok, American TikTok, or even just a passive stroller with broad taste, you have probably run into @Zuluboy 129’s videos, as he has quickly become one of mzansi’s favourite toddlers. His interactions with his mother, where he usually references his beloved grandmother uMakhulu have become a source of happiness for some users.
The young boy’s grandmother had been an unseen character until recently when Zuluboy’s mother, who runs the toddler’s account finally did a Makhulu reveal. Those who had been invested in the youngster’s content had been dying to see his grandmother, as his previous videos have proven that grandma might just be a favourite, even over his mother.
The caption reads ‘Nansti ke ibig girl” (Here is the ‘Big girl’) as Zuluboy usually affectionately refers to his grandmother. Users have concluded that this can most probably be attributed to the fact that that is how Makhulu affirms the young toddler when speaking to him.

This highly anticipated reveal was expectedly received with much love and adoration from those who had only been able to imagine what the beloved Makhulu looked like. Putting a face to the name has once again turned into a viral moment, and has brought this TikTok community that much closer with each other.
