The fashion machine never sleeps. Neither do celebs who grab any chance they get to flash their latest outfits. We caught a few of them out and about this past weekend.
Thembi Seete
Thembi was a vision in white this weekend. Her bandage dress shaped her figure perfectly and the nude heels gave her overall outfit a polished finish. A thumbs up girl, looking good!
DJ Zinhle
The breezy weather didn’t stop DJ Zinhle from showing off her killer legs, and we can’t blame her. High-waisted shorts, a plain tee and a printed kimono for a touch of glam = a trendy weekend look.
Chris Brown
Breezy was a rainbow of colour. His outfit was far from dull but surprisingly all the colours worked quite well together. Brown isn’t about playing it safe when it comes to his fashion choices and a man who takes fashion risks will always be a winner in our eyes.
Mel B
Mel B reminded us that orange is the new black for summer as she radiated in a detailed shift dress. She personified ladylike glam as everything from the length, style and colour of the dress was perfection. We’re definitely going to be stealing this look.
AKA
Mr Levels channelled his inner Kanye in this number and we must admit he pulled it off to a tee. Everything about this outfit screams Mr Cool and his trendsetting ways are not going unnoticed. Big ups AKA…nailed it!!
Pearl Thusi
Pearl was a ray of sunshine in a yellow suit. The cheeky peek-a-boo crop top was edgy yet feminine. Every woman needs to invest in a colourful tailored suit for summer, bright colours will never go out of style and it’s the fail-safe way to steal the spotlight wherever you go.
Solange Knowles
Can we all just take a moment to bask in the awesomeness that is Solange Knowles. The songstress took centre stage as she wed her long time beau Alan Ferguson this past weekend. She strayed from the conventional wedding attire and instead opted for a floor length white gown with a cape draped over it and finished off with gold statement cuff accessories. We also spotted her in an off-white jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and open back. Never one to go with the flow, Solange’s wedding style was all things vintage and memorable proving to us once again why she’s considered a fashion icon.
