- Pin the sides of the hair you are not plaiting to the side so it doesn’t get in your way.
- Take a small section of hair where you want the cornrow to begin.
- Plait the hair on the side into a few rows (size of your head will determine the number of rows).
- Do this on both sides of your head, leaving the hair in the middle, from front to back, loose.
- Fold the loose hair over your index finger to finish the hairstyle.
- Tuck the end of the section of hair under your finger, then pin it down.
- Repeat this process around the head until all the hair is neatly tucked in.
