Pole dancing

Pole dancing is now finally considered a sport. You can strengthen your bones and joints, improve your sleeping patterns and lose weight quicker. We love it because it’s fun, sexy and shed unwanted fat.

Running

Non-competitive running has become trendy, with celebrities joining marathons and sharing their routines on social media. Running is the ultimate whole-body work-out. So set your playlist, put on your headphones on and go chase your those killer legs.

Dancing

Whether it’s hip hop, belly or contemporary dancing, enrol yourself in a dancing class; it’s a great way to meet new people while shedding excess fat. If you’re an introvert, get a DVD work-out and have fun in the comfort of your own home.

Skipping

This is another full body workout that is super quick and dirt cheap. Train your entire body and involve your kids or younger siblings to make it fun.

Walking

This is a great way of trimming, toning or warming up. Make the most out of this work out by wearing your running shoes and enjoying your favourite music. You can run some errands, take your friends along and even bond with your pets while taking them for a walk.

Sports

Swimming is great for muscle toning and endurance building, while playing soccer lowers body fat and increases your cardiovascular health. The best thing about playing sports is that it’s fun and can be done in groups.
