Alcohol is known to be one of the unhealthiest beverage one could ever consume, in most cases this depends on the quantity you consume. It is proven to promote longevity

According to a Finnish study of 2,468 men over a 29 year period, wine drinkers have a 34 percent lower mortality rate than beer and spirit drinkers.

It reduces heart-attack and heart disease risk

Moderate drinkers suffering from high blood pressure are 30 percent less likely to have a heart attack than non-drinkers.

Lowers the risk of stroke

The possibility of suffering a blood clot-related stroke drops by about 50 percent.

Lowers risk of Type 2 Diabetes

Moderate drinkers have 30 percent less risk than no drinkers of developing type 2 diabetes.

Cuts risks of Colon Cancer

Moderate consumption of wine especially red wine, cuts the risk of Colon Cancer by 45 percent.

Slows brain decline

The brain function declines’ at a much faster rate in non-drinkers, than in moderate wine drinkers.

This is according to a study made and defined by the American Heart Association.
