The exciting new local film, The Jakes Are Missing will hit cinemas this weekend. If you go and check it out you could win a Sony Xperia Z2 tablet OR a Sony Xperia M4 Aqua handset.
The Jakes Are Missing is a romantic comedy that features a star studded local cast that promises to have you in stitches. It’s about Janice (Mampho Brescia) and Donald Jakes (Pope Jerrod) who have fallen out of love and are just going through the motions . Their teenage son, Simon (Mpho Sebeng) ends up at the wrong place at the wrong time and therefore the family has to go into Witness Protection. This sends them on a hilarious journey where they will rediscover what it means to love each other again.
The film also features stars like Nomzamo Mbatha, Celeste Ntuli, Zakeeya Patel and Abigail Kubeka amongst many others. The Jakes Are Missing will premiere in South Africa on the 23rd of October. Watch the trailer here.

THE JAKES ARE MISSING: SONY XPERIA competition (“competition”) commences at 09h00 on 8th October 2015 and ends at 23h00 on 19th November 2015 (“competition period”). To qualify as a participant into this competition you must:‐
- Be a South African citizen;
- Be able to provide positive identification on request;
- Live in South Africa
- Enter this competition in your personal capacity and not as a business. For example a close corporation,
partnership or any other legal entity cannot participate.
- Agree to Participate in all Social Media, Digital Media and On Line Marketing campaigns and Posts
related to this Prize. Participants shall enter or take part in the competition at their own risk; SKE and The Jakes Are Missing bears no responsibility for any loss to any third party for any damages of any nature, whether direct or indirect, consequential or otherwise arising out of any act or omission by the participants or for any cause whatsoever. SKE, its directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates are not eligible to participate in or enter this promotional competition. All information relating to this promotional competition and published on any promotional or advertising material forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. By entering this competition, the winners will be requested to use their names for public relations & advertising purposes without any claim to compensation. Should the winners be willing to be photographed on request, this will also be without any claim to compensation. SKE, its directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, suppliers, contractors and sponsors assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from a participant’s participation in this competition or for any loss or damage, howsoever arising. Participants may enter as many times as they like and will only be eligible to win one prize (as defined below). SKE reserves the right to limit the number of entries made by one participant. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that the contact details and email addresses held by SKE are valid and correct. The outcome of the competition is subject to the decision of the judges, presenter or organizer of the competition, whose decision is final and no negotiations and/ or correspondence will be entered into after the fact. - PRIZES
There will be two (2) winners, determined by way of a random draw from the pool of entrants. The winners will be selected and will be contacted telephonically. Upon receipt of the call the potential prize winner may be required to provide positive identification, e-mail address, and a contact number to a representative from SKE. SKE shall notify the winners by email or telephonically of their selection within three (3) working days of the closing date. The winners can win: _ 1 Sony Tablet (Xperia Z2)) OR _ 1 Sony Handset (Xperia M4 Aqua) _ The Winner agrees to take a selfie showing off their prize and agree to Post these Pictures online via Sony Social Media, Their Personal Social Media and The Jakes Are Missing Social Media. With the #TheJakesAreMissing. The film opens in Cinemas on the 23rd October 2015. Prizes must be taken as stated and may not be deferred. There will be no cash alternatives. SKE and The Jakes Are Missing cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any technical failure or malfunction or any problem which may result in any competition entry not being properly registered. Should SKE and The Jakes Are Missing be unable to contact winners via telephone or e-mail, or should the winner not be able to produce positive identification, then SKE and The Jakes Are Missing will not be obliged to deliver the Prizes to the winners, and may at their sole and unfettered election decide to randomly draw another winner or not give away the Prizes. If the Prizes are found to be ineffective, faulty or damaged upon receipt, the Promoters must be notified in writing within seven (7) days of receipt, otherwise the Prizes will be deemed to be accepted as received. This does not affect a Winners’ statutory rights (if any). Prizes not redeemed/claimed/acknowledged within 48 hours from date of winners being announced will be forfeited and disposed of at the Promoters’ discretion, without recourse. If any winner fails to comply with any of these rules or the terms of acceptance of the prizes, or if they refuse to sign the SKE winner’s declaration or the SKE/ winner acknowledgement of receipt of prize form, this will be construed as a rejection of the prizes and then, without prejudice to any other remedy which SKE/ and its associates may have, the winners will be automatically disqualified and will forfeit the prizes, without recourse. To the extent that any taxes, duties, levies or other charges may be levied on a prize by the State or any other competent government or regulatory body, the winners will be liable therefore, and the Promoters will not increase the value of the prizes to compensate for such charges.

The participants acknowledge that any and all Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights used or embodied in connection with the competition such as, but not limited to, the software, designs, logo’s, documentation and information received (“material produced”) by the participants, as a result of the competition are and will remain the exclusive property of SKE and The Jakes Are Missing. The participants warrants that the material produced in respect of the competition does not infringe upon the, or violate any intellectual Property Rights or Copyrights of any third party. Ownership of all Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights in any material produced by the participants as a result of the competition shall vest solely and exclusively in SKE and The Jakes Are Missing. All SKE and The Jakes Are Missing graphics, logos, designs, page headers, icons, scripts and names are registered trademarks, trademarks or trade dress of SKE and The Jakes Are Missing, and may not be used, including as part of trademarks and/or as part of domain names, in connection with any material produced as a result of this competition or in any manner that is likely to cause confusion and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of the SKE and The Jakes Are Missing.
- INDEMNITY
By entering the competition, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless SKE, The Jakes Are Missing, its directors, employees and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs or expenses (including but not limited to legal fees) arising from: (i) your breach of any of the terms contained herein; (ii) your breach of any third party rights, including without limitation any copyright, intellectual property, or privacy right; (iii) your breach of any laws and regulation in creating, posting and/or subsequently amending your submissions; or (iii) any claim that any one of your submissions caused damage to a third party. This indemnity shall survive the duration of the competition.
- JURISDICTION
This competition shall be governed by the laws of South Africa and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of South Africa over any claim or matter arising under or in connection with the competition.
