1.How did you feel when you got the call from Clarins?
It felt and still feels great. Believe it or not, Clarins was in my wishlist for beauty clients. I am now praying to be a spokesperson for the brand. A girl is allowed to dream!
2. Did you have any skin issues growing up?
No, I didn’t have any issue with my skin.
3. What do you do to inspire young girls?
Being an inspiration means that people look up to you. I do what I am supposed to do; I respect my job, and I also do social responsibilities through my foundation – Flaviana Matata Foundation. I stay grounded and always remember where I come from. I believe that this is enough for young women to grow in society, and believe in themselves.
4. What does being part of the Clarins family mean to you?
It means a lot to represent a brand that understands the importance of diversity. The products work for all skin types. I have heard great feedback about Clarins, and I am honoured to be part of the family.
5. What is your daily skin care routine, and why is it important?
Ever since I started working with Clarins, I have been using its products. I cleanse, apply Double Serum followed by Multi-active Jour. In the evening, I use the Multi-Active Nuit face moisturiser. For a natural glow in the morning, I mix the day cream with the orchid oil. But, I also exfoliate once a week, especially if I have had a busy schedule shooting, in order to get rid of all the make-up and dead skin cells. I then apply the Clarins hydrating mask.
