Try making this delicious sorbet without the use of an ice cream maker.

Prep time: 45 minutes
Serves: 4–6
- 2 cups castor sugar
- 2 cups (500ml) lime juice
- 2 cups grated coconut
- 2 cups canned crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup pistachio nuts, crushed
- 2 tablespoons orange rind
- In a saucepan, heat sugar and lime juice until sugar dissolves.
- Combine grated coconut, pineapple, nuts and orange rind in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Add lime syrup into pineapple mixture. Mix well and transfer into a plastic container. Put into freezer.
- After 15 minutes, beat with a folk and put back into the freezer until set.
