Concert lovers and socialites can now get their hands on prized event tickets in just a few clicks as online ticket sites Webtickets and Ticketpro now accept Visa Checkout, Visa’s online checkout service that allows customers to make purchases quickly and easily from their smartphone, tablet, laptop, or PC.
This February, Visa Checkout users can also receive up to R70 off their purchase when booking tickets on Webtickets when using Visa Checkout. With an array of activities including music festivals, sightseeing around Mzansi and sporting activities available this season, customers have many more reasons to try out the new Visa Checkout option.
Visa Checkout offers a simple, one-time enrolment process to capture a customer’s billing and address information. Customers can complete all future transactions using just their username and password with no further information required. Customers also never leave the merchant website so the entire process is seamless and fast.
Visa Checkout takes away the frustration that many online shoppers face in having to submit large amounts of information – such as their name, card numbers and billing address – every time they make a transaction. The popularity of Visa Checkout is apparent as more than 17 million global online shoppers are using Visa Checkout to shop from around 300,000 large and small merchants globally.
Users also get a chance to win a holiday to the value of R100k, when using Visa Checkout from any merchant in South Africa who accepts Visa Checkout as a payment method.
