Never say never…

If you think you’ve passed your sell-by date for studying, think again. Life is changing and evolving every day, so why can’t you?

Think back to five years ago… that wasn’t too long ago, right? How much has changed in your life? You probably have a new cellphone, a new job, and a new style. You evolve with technology and trends, so you should improve your skills too. And it’s never too late to start. BONA speaks to three students who decided to take the leap and study through Oxbridge Academy. Oxbridge Academy allows you to study from home on a part-time basis, so you don’t need to give up your day job.

janet_anubiMeet Janet Dyton Anubi – She has a full-time job as a domestic worker for a busy family. Though she works extended hours, she is finding the time to study skills development courses in childcare (pre-school/au pair) and marketing management, as well as an N4 certificate in Educare. One of her biggest challenges is that she works a full day and doesn’t have time to study during the day.

But, with Oxbridge Academy, she gets to study in the comfort of her home in the evening!

Say hello to Sebase Tshepo Baloyi – He started out as a window cleaner while doing courses in legal studies, public administration and labour relations through Oxbridge Academy. Sebase is now a sales consultant and would love to continue studying in order to improve his skill set.

Because he helps take care of his one-year-old baby, studying through Oxbridge Academy works out ideally. Sebase is able to study after putting the baby to sleep at night.
