All about the base

by Kwanele Mathebula

Massaging your scalp with oil stimulates blood circulation and gives your hair moisture, shine while promoting growth. The treatment will also prevent your hair from becoming brittle.

Here are four different oils and their benefits:

  1. Castor oil stimulates your scalp which encourages hair growth. It’s also great for protecting the ends of your hair. It’s best used before you go to sleep and can be mixed with other products.

Jamaican Castor Oil – R105.95

2. Argan oil hydrates and strengthens your hair. It also protects your hair from stiffening before using heat. It should only be used once a week as overusing it can block your hair cuticles.
