Congratulations to comedienne Tumi Morake who will become the first black African woman to have a set on streaming service, Netflix. The star will join 46 other comedians in the event set to air in 2019. Tumi’s husband, Mpho Osei-Tutu, shared his excitement on his social media.

Tumi will also be part of a half hour show, The Comedy Club, alongside local comics Loyiso Madinga, Riaad Moosa and other comedians from around the world. The show will be shot later this month at the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Canada, and will air in 2019.
