Winter is approaching, so it’s time to replace your summer scents with winter ones because it is not ideal to rock the same fragrance all year long.
Just like clothes, certain scents are seasonal and according to Beauty South Africa, winter scents are warm and have inviting notes of cinnamon, spices, vanillas, musks, and woods, providing a distinct blend of fresh and rich odours.
A typical winter scent would be a scent that is not too strong but more subtle and warm.
Fragrance brand Abel founder, Frances Shoemack says, “For the past few years, whatever the weather, we’re seeing a trend towards smoky, warm scents for their sophisticated-meets-comfort factor. Put down the sweet summer perfume! ”
