We had a quick chat with TV and radio personality, who is also Revlon’s brand ambassador, Bonang Matheba, to find out what her ins and outs are when it comes to beauty.

1.What is your favourite lip colour for this season?
I love pink, so I have quite a few pink shades by Revlon. Although I always ensure I have Revlon ColorBurst Balm Stain in Smitten, Lovesick and Crush shades, I also love the Revlon Super Lustrous Lipgloss because of its shine.
2. What make-up trend are you following now and why?
The graphic, less defined subtle smokey eye.
3. What are your dos and don’ts when it comes to eyebrows?
Eyebrows are like the frame of your face, I probably spend most of my time getting the perfect brow. My biggest do is not to ignore their natural arch. When you are plucking your eyebrows, your aim should be to define their natural shape.
4. Please share advice on using blush?
Keep blush real! I always want my blush to look like it’s radiating from within.
5. Do you ever sleep with make-up?
No! I always remove my make-up before going to bed. That’s one of the regimens I use to maintain a healthy skin.
6. What other ways do you use to keep your skin healthy?
Luckily, I don’t have bad skin. I sometimes have breakouts, but they are under control. Besides making sure not to sleep with make-up, I give my skin a break by not applying anything once a week.
7. Kojal or liquid liner and why?
I like them both as I use them for different reasons. For my everyday make-up, I use kojal as it is not messy; but for winged eyes, I use liquid eyeliners. Revlon ColorStay Liquid Eyeliner is the best as it gives you bold and sharp lines – an elegant trendy winged look!
8. What is your night skin regime?
With my line of job, I wear make-up almost all the time. So it is vital for me to take care of my skin. I wash my face at least three times when removing make-up, then I tone sparingly and avoid scrubbing my skin harshly.
