1.How does waking up, knowing that you are the new Miss South Africa, make you feel?
Words cannot explain how excited I am. It’s an amazing feeling and a dream come true because I have always wanted to be Miss South Africa. I started attending Miss SA workshops from the age of 18.
2. Who is your favourite Miss SA?
Basetsana Kumalo because of the work she did, and continues to do, after her reign. She is a successful businesswoman, so a lot of young women can be inspired by her work.
3. What is your best go-to beauty tip?
I drink a lot of water because it is healthy for you, I get enough sleep because your body needs to refresh itself, and I apply the right skin products. A skin analysis will help you buy the right products for your skin.
4. The best beauty trend right now is….
I believe that less is more, so I always go for natural looks. A basic foundation paired with a clean eye, mascara, eyeliner, hint of blush and nude (brown) lipstick works well for me.

5. What beauty tips can you share with our readers?
The sun is great but too much of it is bad for your skin. Always use sunscreen and drink water, irrespective of the season. Keeping your body hydrated helps it function well.
6. What are you looking forward to the most in 2016?
I can’t wait for the Take a Girl Child to Work campaign. It is a great initiative that helps empower young girls.
7. What beauty tip did your mother share with you as a child?
To always wash my face before going to bed.
8. What is your favourite lipstick colour?
I’m a girly girl; I love pink.
