Kelly Khumalo just added to her collection of tattoos. The singer got her second wing tattooed on her left arm yesterday and shared it on her Instagram.
Kelly, just like Rihanna, Keyshia Cole, Kelis and Chrisette Michele is quite a fan of tattoos and has amassed quite a collection over the years. We actually really love the wings.
Gone are the days when tattoos where only donned by those who were perceived to be ‘dodgy’, ‘criminals’ or bikers. These days they make an appearance in office spaces and upmarket restaurants without causing anyone to bat an eyelid. They’re a widely accepted form of self-expression and a way to commemorate specific occasions.
Despite their popularity though there are a few circles that still take issue with body art. Still associating it with deviant behaviour and also being concerned about the appearance of these tattoos in one’s old age.
