Winter is around the corner and as you know, you are at greater risk of catching a cold during this time of the year than any other season. The right nutrition can give your immune system the boost it needs in fighting the virus, as medicine alone is sometimes not enough. Experts at medical aid provider, Fedhealth suggests the following foods to help you shake off the flu:
1.Drink a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice every day.
2. Eat cereals containing wholegrain corn or oats.

4. Have 1 or 2 tablespoons of honey in tea or straight from the jar.
5. Eat these foods raw: garlic, leeks and wheat bran.
6. For snacks you can eat popcorn or whole-grain crackers.
