We are shocked by news that former Nigerian national team coach and captain, Stephen Keshi has passed away. This was announced in the early hours of this morning by the Nigerian Football Federation on their Twitter account. The man known as the Big Boss reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest. The 54 year old was 1 of only 2 players to win the African Cup of Nations as a player and coach. He was also rumoured to be the next coach of the Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates.
Fans across the world took to Twitter to pay tribute to the legend.
