Fashion designer, Thebe Magugu hosted his 5th year anniversary party, celebrating five years of the Thebe Magugu brand.
In true fashion designer standard, the attendees were sent an invite and a 10 page pdf moodboard to showcase the theme for the night. The theme was ” Pompeii Club (1969)”.
Creativity is nothing new to Thebe Magugu. The designer posted a mock-up media official statement as a built-up campaign to an official invitation rather than a standard party invitation. In the statement, he disputes reports that he is the host of The Pompeii Party (1969) and requests that the media respect his right to privacy.
“My name is Thebetsile Magugu and contrary to certain alleged intelligence reports, I know nothing about the Thebe Magugu POMPEII CLUB (1969) party in downtown Johannesburg on 10.12.2022.
“I am deeply saddened by these accusations and ask that the media please respect my private fabulosity at this time.
“Please refer any queries to my lawyers at ‘Chomee & Associates under the Case Hashtag: #thebemaguguturns5,” said Magugu.

The star studded event was one to not be missed, from everyones favorite miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, Miss SA 2020 Shudufhadzo Musida, model and DJ Ponahalo, fashion duo @themtwo (Naledi Radebe & Mikhail Brown) and many other social media influencers and friends of the brand. Social media stars, Kagiso Mogola and Coachella Randy lit the stage up with their dance moves.

There were two fashion editors at the door to ensure that all attendees were on theme. On the decks, they had Black Coffee, Focalistic, Que DJ Ms Party, TNXBK and Franadilla.
