Lady Zamar is no stranger to controversy as she once faced dominating headlines because of the alleged rape accusations she made against Sjava.
Due to the accusations which she laid of Sjava, Mzansi has not be able to forget as they are always on her neck regarding false rape accusations.
According to Zalebs, here are the two media release statements which addressed the accusations.
Sjava started off by saying:
“When we started dating in 2017 I told her I have a girlfriend and she understood that so we continued our relationship. However as time went on she changed and gave me an ultimatum to chose between her and my girlfriend. In our relationship a lot happened that left her unhappy as I was well invested in my music and neglecting her in the process,” he opened up.
According to Lady Zamar’s statement, she accused Sjava of raping her at a hotel in Thohoyondou, Limpopo. This rape incident allegedly occurred in 2017 after a concert they had both attended.
The case later had been thrown out by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA). Sowetan Live had gotten a hold of Limpopo police spokesperson Col Moatshe Ngoepe, who confirmed that the case against Sjava was declined for prosecution on November 5 by the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA).
“Last year the case docket was handed over to the senior public prosecutor for a decision. On November 5, the case docket was withdrawn by the director of public prosecutions at court,” he told the publication. “The state declined to prosecute the case because it believed the facts or evidence do not support a successful prosecution.
