The proudly Tsonga pageant queen hails from the Limpopo province and was crowned Miss SA in August 2022 following in the footsteps of former Miss SA title holders, Shudufhadzo Musida and Bokang Montjane-Tshabalala.
In one of her Instagram posts while showcasing her national costume , Ndavi said “From the very beginning of my Miss South Africa journey, I always wanted people to know that I was standing for Tsonga people because growing up as a child I felt as if we were under-represented. At the same time, we’ve incorporated the fact that I’m South African and African; this is so beautiful because I’ve come to learn that as Africans we are more alike than we are different thanks to our shared experiences and values. It is a proud moment for me to make all Africans feel seen, understood and represented. ”

It would be a joyous occasion should Ndavi win Miss Universe 2023, as a country we are still on a high over Zozibini Tunzi’s 2019 Miss Universe win. Our pageant queens have really been outdoing themselves and continue to make us proud.
Celebrities and fans showered Ndavi with love in her comment section and had this to say:
