1.You have always been on the small screen, but have recently dabbled in music. Please tell us more about that.
I have always loved music and wanted to showcase my talent to the world. Although I did not plan to be a TV presenter, I am glad I got into it first.
2. What kind of music do you do?
I am not tied to one specific genre. However, you’ll hear a lot soul and RnB-inspired sounds in my music. People should look out for my album titled Energy, which will be out early next year.
3. We didn’t see or hear much of you after Craz-e, what were you up to?
I was working behind the screens producing and writing scripts for various shows. I also worked on building my record label.
4. Tell us about Shikisha; what’s the show about?
It is a family game show that gives participants an opportunity to showcase their singing talents while participating in different nostalgic indigenous games such as bhati, mgusha, skipping and skotch. Launched during heritage month, the show is designed to celebrate our unique South African spirit by showcasing the fun indigenous games that form a huge part of many people’s childhood.
5. How has it been like working with Ntombee Mzolo, your co-presenter?
It is a lot of fun. We work well together. The show is high in energy and we have to improvise, and we’re able to accomplish that together.
