1. There is a deeper meaning behind my name. I always try to merge fashion and music, so I decided to call myself Stilo. It means style in Portuguese, while Magolide refers to Joburg, the city of gold, and where I come from.
2. I’m a rapper that mergers music and street culture. Through my music and fashion, I make two different worlds meet. My music appeals to audiences from different walks of life, and my fashion represents a township street culture with an urban uptown vibe. I want to balance out the two worlds.
3. Rapping gives me an opportunity to explore different themes. When the beat and rhymes come together, it feels like an amazing form of insanity. I love the creative process of making music. I get an opportunity to express my thoughts and visions. It feels amazing.
4. I love what I do. I have been in the rapping game for a couple of years, and it’s truly a blessing that my career is doing well. My idea of merging streetwear with an urban flair is also doing well.
5. I give the best live performances! I have a lot of energy, and I feed off from my fans. I put a lot of thought into my performances because I really want my fans to have a great time. I can’t wait to wow them at the Superbalist in The City Weekend Virgin Braam Beach Party; I have new music that I want them to hear.
