What has been the biggest adjustment you’ve had to make once you became famous?
Time. I’ve had to adjust to waking up early in the morning for interviews and travelling long distances (and being able to take 2 hour naps).
What do you wish the public- fans and non-fans- knew about you?
I’m a loving person who puts my fans hearts before myself.
Is there anything you miss about not being famous?
Yes definitely! Going onto the street or into the mall spending 1 hour and going home. Now I spend the whole day cause like I said before I put my fans 1st always.
Beyonce has the Hive, Rihanna has the monsters, Lady Gaga has her monsters, what is your fan base’s special name?
Family! Because my fans are not just fans but they are my family – they fight for me as if we were blood siblings.
How’s Wena Wodumo Entertainment going? Are you planning on signing/representing other artists? What has the journey of record label ownership been like?
Wena Wodumo Entertainment is going great. Yes I do plan to sign artists to my label once I’m ready to do so. My journey has been amazing; it’s been more than great because God does wonders all the time.
Who are you the biggest fan for, locally and/or internationally?
Internationally definitely Beyonce, but locally my Queens as I have mentioned Brenda, Lebo, Mshoza and Chomme, but also my girl Busiswa – oh how I love her. Cici, Distruction Boys, Mampintsha and definitely Mshunqisi – I’m a huge fan.
