Award-winning producer and musician Babyface and his family are currently in recovery after testing positive for COVID-19 coronavirus. The star shared an update on social media a few days after he announced the news.

In a statement, Babyface said in part; “I feel so blessed to celebrate another birthday. I tested positive for the COVID10 virus, as did my family. It’s an incredibly scary thing to go through my friends. I’m happy to report we have now tested negative and are on our way back to full health.”
Babyface’s diagnosis saw the postponement of his and Teddy Riley‘s music face-off which was set to take place on 5 April 2020. The musician has announced a new date for the face-off. He said in part; “I would like to officially accept the invitation from the legendary Swizz Beatz & Timbaland to participate with my little brother, Teddy Riley in what I’d like to call a Celebration of Black Music Excellence in – Teddy vs. Babyface…”
The Babyface and Teddy Riley to have a music face-off will take place on 18 April on Babyface’s Instagram Live.
