Beyoncé is not only the first ever black female performer to headline Coachella but she is also the only second female headliner at the popular festival in its nearly 20-year history. Bjork is the only other woman to headline Coachella in 2002 and 2007.

The Formation hitmaker is all set to headline Coachella 2018 together with Eminem and The Weeknd. The 2018 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is the first scheduled concert since the birth of her twins Rumi and Sir Carter.
The annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will be held over two weekends, April 13-15 and April 20-22, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
The line-up also includes performances by Cardi B, Tyler, the Creator, Migos, French Montana and 6lack, SZA, Miguel, Portugal the Man, Haim, David Byrne, alt-J, Post Malone, and the War on Drugs.
