1. Many people know me as a popular hip-hop rapper. I am also a big lover of skateboarding, and a proud father to my gorgeous daughter, Maddisson. I am just a simple guy who loves music and art.
2. My journey in the entertainment industry has been amazing. I started off when I was about 10 years old. Over the years, I have grown and learnt a lot. Being in the game for this long has taught me to be patient; I am now more mature.
3. I have been working on my new album called Diamond in Africa. I find that music is always evolving, and I create it with that in mind. This new album has a different sound to what I am known for, and I am working with a new, younger team.
4. The key to hosting epic parties such as North94 and the All White Party is not compromising on quality. I had no idea that the parties would be a success and gain popularity. The more they grow, the more hard work I need to put in because I want them to be better.
5. An important lesson I learnt in this industry is to stay true to your brand. Being loyal to your brand and having a strong team to help you build it is important. You need to surround yourself with people who share the same vision as you.
6. My advice to newbies in the industry is to know the difference between confidence and arrogance. It is important to be confident, not arrogant – many people confuse the two. Find your sound and stick to it – this will also help you succeed.
