The entire journey from the initial idea to the production of The House of BNG has been a huge highlight. Other highlights include becoming the first black woman to become a member of Cap Classic Producers Association, seeing the first bottles on shelves and revealing the Prestige Reserve at the Sun Met 2020. There are of course special milestones close to my heart like the launch, being the official celebration partner for the presidential inauguration, Miss SA, Forbes 30 under 30 and Forbes Women Summit.
Entering the luxury beverage market has been a real challenge. But through strategic planning with a clear vision and a great team understanding of all the logistics it has proven a success. There are many moving parts. So I constantly have to keep my eye on everything, all the time.

Launching an MCC takes an incredible amount of work. It was something that years in the making. It’s been a commitment from growing the grapes, agreeing on what it is finally going to taste like and then believing in it enough to put my name on it.
Following the launch of the Prestige label, what’s next for the brand/what can the public expect?
I am excited about growing my brand this year. The Prestige Reserve has just been revealed even though it hasn’t been launched as yet. My team and I are working on something special for its official launch and I can’t wait to share it with my fans. I have also been receiving a lot of requests for a non-alcoholic version which has been interesting for me.

I have big plans for The House of BNG. Initially, the plan was to create a platform that will allow for amazing experiences and offer a space to curate a selection of lifestyle products that spark my imagination and my passions. There are plans to expand into the rest of Africa, create new innovations and all will be revealed over the next few years.
