We are wrapping up 2014 and geared up for the new year, but before we get there, we take a moment to recognise the significance of Christmas and ask our celebs what they will be up to.
BUCIE
I’m going away for Christmas. Usually my family and I go to church in the morning, but this year I will be working and have a few festive gigs lined up before and after Christmas.
DINEO RANAKA
I always spend time with my family. This Christmas I will be eating plenty of food as I want to gain a little extra weight.
DINEO MOEKETSI
Christmas means family time for me; I will be spending a lot of time with my family.
MAPS MAPONYANE
I am not entirely sure what I will be up to this Christmas, but it will most probably be family related. My family and I will have a braai and get to see our extended family.
NEO NTLATLENG
I will be shooting a show throughout the holidays. But I will take Christmas day off to be with my family. We all get busy during the year, but take time out to at least see each other on this day.
PROVERB
Family definitely comes first during the Christmas season, so I will be doing a lot of travelling – visiting family everywhere. I am looking forward to that.
ANDILE GUMBI
I will be in Durban for the holidays. I love spending time with my family; it means a lot to me. I don’t get to see them often, and did didn’t get to spend time with them last year, so I will make the best of my time with them this year.
NONHLE THEMA
I will be with my family. I’m not sure what we will be doing in particular, but it will be something great.
DINEO LUSENGA
Every year I spend Christmas with my family. This year, however, things will be different because I will be in Los Angeles and New York enjoying my very first white Christmas and attending a few classes.
BUJI
I have decided to be with friends this Christmas, which is something extraordinary because I usually spend it with my family. I think the meaning of Christmas has changed over the years; growing up it used to be about the new Christmas clothes to wear to church, the seven-colour meals and being with family and friends. Today, it’s become too much about Santa Claus and reindeers, and I don’t completely understand it.
