15-year-old tennis player, Cori Gauff beat Venus Williams and made Wimbledon history. The star won the first-round match at Wimbledon during her very first Grand Slam match against the five-time Wimbledon champion. Cori also made history as the youngest player to qualify for Wimbledon.
After the shock of beating her tennis idol passed, the star shared her excitement at winning. She said in part: “This is the first time I ever cried after winning a match. I never thought this would happen. I don’t know how to explain it. I’m literally living my dream. Not many people get to say that.”
