Friendships among celebrities are more common that we think. A few of the most popular people locally and internationally seem to have made long lasting friendships within the same industry even though that can be difficult.
Here are a few examples.

The two have been besties since they acted in Muvhango together and appear to have a lot of fun together.

These two enjoy going out together and spoiling each other.
3. Gabrielle Union and Essence Atkins
The two are so close that Essence actually officiated at Gabrielle’s wedding and gave quite an emotional speech about their friendship at the reception.

4. Sanaa Lathan and Regina Hall
The BFF’s have been acting together in many of the same films since the 90s and developed a strong friendship since then.
5. Pearl Thusi and DJ Zinhle
Pearl was very supportive of DJ Zinhle during her break up with AKA and since then they’ve become almost inseparable.

6. Terry Pheto, Mampho Brescia and Nomzamo Mbatha
These ladies are the epitome of #squadgoals. They’re very supportive of each other’s careers and clearly spend a lot of time together.

7. Boity Thulo and Khanya Mkangisa
The two are so close that they’ve even come up with a name for themselves; KHAITY.

8. Ciara, Serena Williams, Kelly Rowland and La La Anthony
This is another case of great #squadgoals. The ladies are often seen supporting Serena at her tennis matches, attending each others baby parties and Kelly and La La were actually Ciara’s bridesmaids earlier this year.

9. Minnie Dlamini and Nandi Madida
The two stars who are both from KZN never miss a chance to celebrate each others milestones. From weddings to baby showers, they’re always there for each other.

10. Bonang Matheba and Lorna Maseko
The queens of fabulosity, Bonang and Lorna were both presenters on Top Billing it seems that’s were they really got close. They are constantly seen living it up on lunch dates and red carpets.
