Popular on social media, the #ManCrushMonday craze started about a year ago and since then it’s been reported that the hashtag #mcm is the most used. We also jumped on the trend and put together a list of our favourite man crushes of 2014.

My oh my…This list would be wrong if we didn’t mention the Chana Power. From his dress code and his surprisingly romantic motswako rap style – he is hot stuff. There was no way we wouldn’t include this cute guy.
ANDILE GUMBI
Clearly he works out, and what girl wouldn’t like a man with serious abs? We came to love him as Zweli on Isibaya and now can’t get our eyes of him. Yes, he’s a talented actor but, have you seen that chocolate covered skin? He is definitely worthy of being on the list.
BLAYZE
“Hold up, wait a minute”, as the verse to his song Light it up goes, he totally lights our hearts up. We have to admit his music is cool. We love his international sounds. We respect his hustle, but the real reason we think he is the perfect man crush is because of his gorgeous body.
PHILA MADLINGOZI
He played a lead role on Intersexions season two, and since then has been the lead cutie pie in our daydreams. He has adorable dimples, great acting skills and poetry in the music industry.
SIYABONGA RADEBE
This Dudemeister is the one you recall standing alongside hunk Idris Elba (for their international Oude Meester advert) yet still looking really good. We admire how much he loves his family, and will forever find him to be ‘that romantic guy’ after hearing him sing a few times. With that said, why not have this cutie one on the list?
DJ SPEEDSTA
It’s often said that DJ’s are a no-go, but we couldn’t help ourselves. We love Mr DJ Speedsta, he is one of South Africa’s leading hip hop artists who produces his own songs as well as smash hits for other artists.
LEHASA MOLOI
Perhaps the yellow-bone isn’t your cup of tea, but our reason for crushing on him is more than the fact that he has a banging body. We are obsessed with his calm and relaxed personality, and not to mention his mad hustle to keep doing what he loves.
SCOOP MAKHATHINI
We love everything about Siyabonga Ngwekazi, especially his cool name, Scoop. His presenting skills has us glued to our screens, and we can’t help but also love his unique and fashionable dress sense.
MAPS MAPONYANE
He’s all kinds of talent, from being a model, actor, presenter and all together a pretty boy. Although this might sound creepy, we admit that some of us here at BONA have pictured our wedding day with Maps and imagined how beautiful our kids will be…
REASON
It’s so unfortunate that we cannot rap like Reason, but it hasn’t stopped us from being head over heels in love with him and his rap game. We love his charming face, and can’t wait to see him do more in the music industry.
