Award-winning rapper Gigi Lamayne is set to represent South Africa at the Amsterdam Dance Event. The event is both a music conference and festival and is widely recognized as the global meeting point for the creative industry around electronic music.

Gigi will be part of a Q&A session to give insight into African hip-hop before gracing the stage. She announced the exciting news on social media saying in part: “All I’ve ever wanted to do was reach for the stars and land in the clouds!”
The Amsterdam Dance Event takes place 16 – 20 October in Amsterdam.
