I’m excited about my latest single. Titled Getting Cash, the single is part of my mixtape called Versus. When I was creating it, I wanted an explosive song that would add a bang to the mixtape. When I heard the beat, I decided to layer it with sexy and cool lyrics. This complemented it well and I love the final product.

Creating music gives me a platform to express myself. As a musician and record label owner of Nomuzi Mabena Music, I’m driven by the desire to transform the industry and make it more inclusive for women.
Apart from music, I’m enjoying my fashion evolution. I’m constantly switching it up and trying new things almost every day. Growing up, I loved the late Brenda Fassie’s fashion style. As a teenager, I was obsessed with Rihanna’s fashion flair, which had a bad girl vibe. Over the years, as I’ve been experimenting with fashion, I tried to fuse the two. It continues to be an exciting journey.
I’m grateful for a great support system that helps me overcome the challenges of working in entertainment. I’m currently juggling being a TV presenter, model and musician. I also pray and read the Bible to keep my faith alive.
