Octavia Spencer is set to receive a Hollywood Walk of Fame star. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce announced the news with a list of the class of 2020 honorees. The award-winning actress will receive the star in the Motion Pictures category.

The Selection Committee Chair and Walk of Famer, Vin Di Bona said in part: “The Walk of Fame Selection Committee is pleased to announce our newest honorees to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This year’s choices were particularly unique. We were able to recognize the talents of thirty-five artists who have already built a legacy here in Hollywood.”
Other recipients in the category include Oscar-winning actors Mahershala Ali and Laurence Fishburne, as well as Oscar-winning director, Spike Lee and Dave Chappelle and Billy Porter in the Live Theatre/Live Performance category.
