Oprah breaks her silence following her mother's death

Oprah has broken her silence following the death of her 83-year-old mother, Vernita Lee, on Thanksgiving. The queen of talk shared a picture of her family surrounding her mother and expressed her gratitude for the words of comfort from her friends, family and the world.

May Vernita Lee rest in eternal peace.
